General Match Info

For as long as we can remember, supporters of the national sides would be given tickets behind the goals of “their end”. Now, whilst that is still the case here, FIFA decided to mess with categories and make the most expensive seats the ones directly behind the goal, with the cheaper seats higher up on the middle to upper tiers.

The beer of the tournament is Michelob Ultra, and Lionel Messi is their brand ambassador. A light lager with links to Budweiser is normally one of the cheaper beers on the market, however at the time of going to print, we’re not sure on the price inside the stadiums.

Drinking in the seats is allowed, in fact many stadiums even have cup holders built into the seats. Can we make a personal request? When we score, stick your beer in the holder rather than chucking it all over your fellow fans. It’s going to be too hot and humid to be covered in the stuff.

Tickets will once again be digital and will only activate via Bluetooth when close to the stadium, restricting the ability for screenshots and ultimate ticket touting.

The resale platform will be available to utilise, and FIFA will take a 15% cut from whatever you decide to sell your ticket at, whilst also claiming 15% from the buyer, too. It’s all above board, honest…
